Georgia defensive tackle Jeff Owens is at the Senior Bowl. I pegged him as a future NFLer after his freshman year. He was a really good inside pass rusher and solid against the run even then. He did not become the powerhouse DT I thought he would, in part due to a serious injury that cost him a season.
I saw one pre-draft guide that had him listed as a 5-6th round pick. Manure! Owens is a much better prospect than that and if he works hard before the combine should move up draft boards. He can play, as can his UGA cohorts Kade Weston and Geno Atkins. All will be drafted.
