Paul Finebaum

I am slow to post this and it's old, but Finebaum's views on the state of college beat reporting is interesting. And here's his more recent piece on the proposed 96 game NCAA hoop field. Finebaum can lob cliches with the worst of them, but you have to like a writer who still uses "cockamamie."
